RAPPEL RACKS
Rappel Racks are 'U' shaped frames, attached to the rappeller's harness, into which snap multiple bars that pivot from the other side of the frame. The rope is woven through as many of the bars as are required to provide sufficient friction. This allows for variations in rope diameter and condition, as well as controlled rate of descent. Rappel racks are the best solution for rappelling when you have large weights or lots of distractions while you are in the air. These can be woven through the bars from once to 10 times or more to help reduce or increase rope drag.
